Policies

Service Area

I service the San Fernando Valley and the greater Hollywood area.  If you are unsure if I travel to your location, please contact me.  Exceptions to my service area are on a case-by-case basis and may include a travel charge. Package discounts are not available outside of my service area.

Most in-person services take place at the home and/or in the neighborhood of the client.

Virtual, online services are available anywhere in the world.

Cancelation

You may cancel any paid session with a 24-hour notice.  Canceling with less than 24 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the session fee. 

Booking and Communication

All scheduling and questions are communicated through email.  This ensures that you have all information available to you in written format.  I may text the day of the appointment to let you know I have arrived.  If you have any questions or booking concerns, please email sitwithrollin@gmail.com.   If you have a lengthy question, I recommend booking a 30-minute online session.  This option is only available for clients who have worked with me in the past.

Aggression

If your dog has bitten another person or another dog, this information must be shared with me prior to our meeting.  I may refer you to an aggression specialist depending on the bite severity, so that you and your dog receive the best help available.

E-Collars

I believe in the power of positive reinforcement and do not work with e-collars or shock collars.

Separation Anxiety

This is a complex behavioral issue with a genetic component.  I refer cases of moderate-to-severe separation anxiety to trainers who specialize in this area.

Payment

All payment must be completed at the end of each session.  If you are purchasing a package, full payment of the package must be completed at the end of the first session.  If you have questions about payment plans, please email me.  I accept cash, check, Venmo and Zelle.   

Packages

All sessions must be used within one year of your first session.  After a year, the sessions expire.

Refunds

I allow for refunds for unused sessions in instances where a dog needs to be rehomed.  There are no refunds for completed sessions.  If you purchased a package and need a refund for unused sessions, the package discount will not apply for the refunded sessions.

Social Media

If videos or photos are taken during our session, please notify me if you do not want them posted on social media.
